Private Day Tour to Jerash and Ajloun
Take a private tour to visit the Greco Roman City of Jerash, and the Crusader Castle of Ajloun. Maybe even extend to enjoy some of Ajloun's nature reserve and sample some of the rural lifestyle experiences.
The Greco-Roman city of Jerash located 55km north of the capital Amman is one of the largest and best preserved Roman cities outside of Italy. You will be able to visit the whole city and build a good image of what this city used to look like in the early first century. The main part of the visit will feature the Hippodrome, gate of Hadrian, Cardo, Collonnaded Street, Amphitheater, and Temple of Zeus. There is a lot more to explore as well.

After the visit, continue 15km further north to the city of Ajloun. There you will visit Al Rabad Castle which is a crusader castle with stunning views of the northern mountains. From there you will be able to see as far as the Golan and Lake Tiberias.

You can also extend your visit to hike in the Ajloun Forest Reserve or visit the RSCN center for some of the local experiences offered by the local community from food making to traditional arts and crafts.
